GIS.NET 3.0 for Mapping Applications

Licenses for all GeoFrameworks products are sold based on the versions of the .NET Framework that you use. For example, if you use Visual Studio 2008, you'll be using .NET Framework 3.5 along with .NET Compact Framework 3.5. If you use Visual Studio 2005, you would be using .NET Framework version 2.0 along with .NET Compact Framework 2.0. In some rare cases, a software developer may use an older framework with a newer version of Visual Studio. If you have any doubts as to which versions are currently in use, check with your software development team to confirm which .NET Frameworks your software uses.
